Building Industry Luncheon (BIL)

The 31st Annual Building Industry Luncheon (BIL) takes place on June 19, 2013 at LeParc Dining and Banquet in Markham (8432 Leslie St.). The Honourable Kathleen Wynne, Premier of Ontario, is the keynote speaker.

United Way York Region is grateful to be supported by a thriving and philanthropic community of developers. Under the dynamic leadership of Founding Chair, Alfredo De Gasperis, and current chairs Jim V. De Gasperis, President and CEO, Condrain Group; Bill Fisch, Chairman and CEO, The Regional Municipality of York; and Marc A. Muzzo, President, Pemberton Group,  the luncheon has grown steadily over the last three decades and consistently surpasses set targets. United Way’s most successful one-day fundraising event, the luncheon is a tribute to the industry’s civic mindedness and commitment to give back to York Region.

Last year’s BIL raised $700,000 for United Way’s community priorities: helping kids be all they can be; moving people from poverty to possibility; and building strong, healthy communities.
